Cons: No instructions/documentation of any kind for the mounting kit or antenna. Notes: The connector is perpendicular to the antenna, not parallel. This antenna is directional, meaning you have to point it directly at the Access Point or router for best results. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Poor signal By Stephanie Lawson I recieved this and hooked it up. I had no troubles with that part. The problem was that the signal just was not strong enough. I would say I would need the signal to reach about 600 ft if that and it was not working. I got three bars but every once in a while it would just stop working. This thing is also huge. I had to place it outside to get the three bars that I did get. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A long range wifi antenna for a depolyed Airman. By K. Langford The antenna, though bigger than what I expected, works nominally. It's rather durable (The broomstick I attached it to above my room broke, and it hit the concrete with no discernable damage or performance impact). I would definitely secure this against possible wind gusts. See all 3 customer reviews...
